#49. Bloomington
Known as the “Gateway to Scenic Southern Indiana,” Bloomington is home to Indiana University and its 42,000 students. This college town has numerous entertainment venues and nightspots, including several microbreweries in the mix. Top destinations are pubs like Function Brewing, Upland Brewing Co. and Bloomington Brewing Co., which features big sellers like a livability-related beer, 10-Speed Hoppy Wheat, that celebrates the city’s budding bike culture (note: don’t drink and ride).
