#27. Anchorage
With a joint military base and almost all of Chugach State Park located in its boundaries, Anchorage is the largest city in Alaska and houses nearly a dozen breweries. They include Glacier BrewHouse, Moose’s Tooth Pub & Pizzeria and Midnight Sun Brewing Co. that features a good-selling ale called Matanuska Thunder Funk. Each January, Anchorage hosts a Great Alaska Beer & Barley Wine Festival.
