Melissa Thompson

Melissa Thompson, PhD, is the Director of Talent Development for the Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC). She leads all aspects of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC)’s talent development program where she designs and executes recruitment and retention strategies to meet workforce demands. She partners with Baton Rouge Area employers to provide services that complement their human resources practices, including regional tours for candidates and acclimation content on brac.org/lifeinbr. Additionally, she provides leadership development programming for young professionals and collaborates with area universities and employers to connect students to internships.
