Desira Fuqua

Desira Fuqua is a happy human who draws from a lifetime spent reading voraciously of every genre and tramping the earth in search of history, adventure, and beauty to write essays and stories that she hopes will inspire others to follow in her footsteps and come see the world, and tread more lightly upon it.  She has been to nearly every corner of the country, a quarter of the 400+ national park units, and is working on the rest.
