Nampa’s vibrant downtown district features charming local boutiques, restaurants and nightspots with additional options located just outside the city center.

Sip, Shop & Sup Downtown

Stretch a delightful day of shopping into an entertaining evening without ever leaving Nampa’s highly walkable downtown. 

Start the day off with house-roasted coffee and scratch-made pastries, plus some fun and funky gifts at Flying M. Coffee. Now that you’re fueled up and ready to go, it’s time for some serious shopping. After all, it’s only fitting the Treasure Valley should be filled with priceless finds.

For new and vintage home décor, check out the wares at A Beautiful Mess, Mustard Seed, The Thrifty Owl, The Vintage Cupboard, Two Old Cats in a Barn, Utter Clutter and Village Antiques. 

For fashionable finds, Antlers Boutique keeps you on trend, and The King’s Beagle does the same for furry friends. Mizz Bee Haven has both you and your home covered in vintage style, while Bluebird Quilt Studio and Mondaes Makerspace & Supplies help you create a new look. And rumor has it all the new and used vinyl at Disc-Cover Records really helped Stella get her groove back.

By now, you’re sure to have worked up an appetite.  

Café De Coco is a lunchtime favorite with homemade quiche, sandwiches and salads, plus more shopping for distinctive gifts. For a heartier meal, try breakfast or lunch at family-owned LeBaron’s Honker Café. On a pretty day, grab a meal to go from ONE11 Press and dine al fresco.  

For a more leisurely lunch or dinner, savor the elevated comfort food at Brick 29 Bistro. Chef Dustan Bristol, a James Beard Award semifinalist, puts his special spin on a menu crafted around local and seasonal ingredients. Be sure to save room for the incredible desserts. Before or after your meal, pop downstairs to Craft Lounge for a cocktail or late-night bite in a speakeasy setting.

The First Street District is rapidly becoming a dining and entertainment hot spot. Mesa Tacos + Tequila features creative taco ingredients paired with agave cocktails. Holy Cow serves up craft burgers and beer. Messenger Pizza doles out delicious pies by the slice. And PreFunk Beer Bar has become Nampa’s premier growler fill station with more than two dozen beers on tap.

Top off a great day with a toast. Swirl, which often features live music, and The 112 focus on wines, including several award-winning entries from local vineyards. Beer takes center stage at 2C Family Brewing and Crescent Brewery. And a full bar, pool, darts, live music and a dance party set the tone at Whiskey River.

 Dining A Little Farther Afield

There are also plenty of excellent dining and entertainment options just minutes from downtown.

Sarah’s Bagel Café features fresh-baked breakfast and lunch sandwiches, soups, smoothies and more. Just across from the Ford Idaho Center, JaK*s Place is an elevated bar and grill serving local wines and featuring live music on weekends.

Tower Grill is located just feet from the Warhawk Air Museum off runways 29 and 11 at the Nampa Municipal Airport. The family-friendly restaurant continues the aviation theme with hearty breakfast options and juicy burgers named after WWII-era planes.  

Italian-esque features fresh focaccia bread and a full range of pastas. And raise a glass to Mother Earth Brewing Company with a tasting room featuring 30 taps with locally handcrafted brews.

Gateway to Wine Country

Nampa is the perfect jumping off point to enjoy the 19 stops along the Sunnyslope Wine Trail, each located a short 15-to-30-minute drive from downtown.  

 Although the first substantial grape crops weren’t planted until the 1970s, it turns out Idaho’s rich soil is the perfect base to craft a diversity of award-winning wines from chardonnay, rose and zinfandel to cabernet, merlot and pinot noir.
